Who makes RhymeCam and how it works
Who
RhymeCam is an independent product, built and run by a small independent team. We make a photo to rap video tool: you bring a photo you have the right to use, and the product writes original bars and an original beat, then makes a short video of that photo rapping. It is for a birthday, a pet, or a joke you can send. It is not a way to copy a famous song or a famous voice.
How a video is made
You sign in with Google and say who the song is about: a name, how you know them, and a few real details. The lyrics are written by AI. You can edit every line, or replace the draft with words you wrote, before a render starts. Please read that draft. AI lines can be wrong, awkward, or off-brief.
The video is AI-generated from your photo. It is not a film of someone performing. The player labels the clip as made with AI. Lengths are 5, 10, or 15 seconds, at 480p or 720p. APIMart (Seedance 2.5) renders the picture. We do not clone a singer, accept a song upload, or offer a box for "in the style of" a named artist.
Safety and consent
The product is for adults. Everyone in a photo must be 18 or older. Before a render you confirm that the photo is you, or that every person in it gave permission, and that nobody in it is a celebrity or other public figure. We do not generate public figures.
An automated check reads the words, the photo, and the finished video before a video is shown or downloaded. If that check is down, the video is not generated and not released. We review reports and copyright notices within 48 hours. The limits are on the acceptable use page.
Credits
There is no free video and no per-video unlock. Every render spends credits from a paid pack. The trial pack is the entry purchase. The menu is on the pricing page. If a render fails on our side before a video is delivered, those credits come back automatically. An unused credit pack can be refunded within 7 days of purchase. After you download a video, that purchase is not refunded in cash.
